Butter Pecan Sauce
Only the YourOffice Team can make splits like this: fresh from the ice cream machine in our own kitchen, toppings made with organic fruit from Manna Market and fresh whipped cream.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Cups Chopped Pecans
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Instructions
In an 8- cup glass measuring cup, combine the sugar, cream and corn syrup. Gradually stir in cream until smooth. Put in microwave, batter at 2.5 cup mark. Microwave on high, no stirring or cover, watch continuously until the mixture bubbles up to slightly higher than 8 cups then deflates to 7 cups. Do not open the microwave. If in doubt, cook for less time, not more. Remove from microwave and gently stir in pecans (or walnuts), butter and vanilla. Remove from the heat; stir in butter until melted. Add the pecans, stirring gently.
Caramelized Pineapple Topping
Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Shredded or Flaked Coconut
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Small Fresh Pineapple, Peeled, Cored, and Chopped (3 cups)
- 3 Tablespoons Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Finely Shredded Lime Peel
- 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
- 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
Instructions
In a large skillet, toast coconut over medium heat until browned; remove from skillet. Add
butter to skillet. When melted, add pineapple. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring
occasionally until juices are evaporated and pineapple is nicely browned. (This will take about
15 minutes.) Stir in toasted coconut, brown sugar, lime peel, lime juice, and nutmeg. Serve
warm or cooled.
Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 Pint Whipping Cream
- 2 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Instructions
Mix ingredients well, put in syphon, load O2 cartridge, shake 5 times, squirt.
Easy Microwave Hot Fudge Topping
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Cocoa
- 2 Dash Salt
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream or Milk
- 1 Stick Butter
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients, add cream. Cook on high 2 – 3 minutes, until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Stir in butter and cook on high 2 – 4 minutes more, watching closely and stirring every 30 seconds or so, until mixture thickens. Stir in vanilla and salt. Serve warm.
Strawberry Sauce In The Microwave
Ingredients
- 13 Small Strawberries
- 2 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
Instructions
Wash the strawberries and hull. Cut into sixths. Place the cut strawberries into a dish just big enough to hold them, add the sugar and lemon juice, and microwave for 1 minute. Lightly mix the warm strawberries with a spoon to finish.
